Characteristics of angular contact ball bearing
It can bear radial load and axial load at the same time. The higher the rotating speed, the larger the contact angle, the higher the axial bearing capacity.
Single row bearing can only bear axial load in one direction. When bearing radial load, it will cause additional axial force. And only limit the axial displacement of the shaft or shell in one direction. If it is installed in pairs, make the outer rings of a pair of bearings opposite, that is, wide end face to wide end face, and narrow end face to narrow end face. In this way, the additional axial force can be avoided, and the shaft or shell can be limited to the axial clearance range in two directions. There are more than 70 kinds of variable structure of angular contact ball bearing.
There are three kinds of nominal contact angles: 15 °, 25 ° and 40 °. The larger the contact angle is, the higher the axial bearing capacity is. The contact angle of high-precision and high-speed bearings is usually 15 °. Under the action of axial force, the contact angle will increase.
Generally, the inner ring or outer ring is provided with a lock, and the inner and outer rings cannot be separated. After the outer ring is heated and expanded, it is assembled with the inner ring, rolling body and cage assembly. The number of balls installed is more than that of deep groove ball bearing, and the rated load is the largest in the ball bearing, with strong rigidity and stable operation.
The internal and external displacements can be used to adjust the radial clearance. It is often used in pairs and preloaded to improve the bearing rigidity.
